BITE: THE ART & CRAFT OF FOOD
A FOOD FESTIVAL WITH A DIFFERENCE
Phill Lewis, chef and co-owner of award-winning restaurant Dusty Knuckle Pizza
, has teamed up with Simon Thomas (previously of Street Food Circus) to create a new kind of food festival.
The one-day event — called ‘BITE’ — will take place in the idyllic gardens of Insole Court mansion in Llandaff on Saturday July 14th.
A host of top chefs and producers will be creating one-off dishes especially for the festival, and every single one will be priced at £3.
Chefs and producers confirmed to take part so far include;
• Tom Furlong of highly acclaimed Milkwood Cardiff
restaurant in Pontcanna
• Illtud Dunsford of the award-winning Charcutier LTD
• Tommy Heaney of The Great House & Restaurant Tommy Heaney
(who also recently announced plans for a Cardiff restaurant, opening later this year)
More to be announced in the coming weeks…
Wright's Food Emporium
— who recently opened a natural wine shop and café on the balcony in Cardiff’s Castle Arcade — will also be selling a variety of organic and natural wines by the glass.
Don't forget to bring a picnic blanket!
