Bring a blanket and spread out on the lawn, or book a strawberries and prosecco package from the Gallery to enjoy on the terrace or within our indoor space.
1. Friday, 3rd August: Miss Kitty’s Jazz Trio
Kitty's Trio perform a quality mix of tailored swing and jazz — including classic jazz standards and original compositions.
2. Friday, 10th August: Pianist, Dan Phelps
Dan Phelps presents a selection of light solo piano works. Dan is an award-winning composer and pianist, based in Tonteg in Rhondda Cynon Taff. His albums have been described as a «pleasurable listening experience» by BBC Radio 3's Rob Cowan.
3. Friday, 17th August: Cathays Brass Band
Cathays Brass is a community brass band in the heart of Cardiff. Our aim is to provide a fun and enjoyable environment to create great music. They are the International Eisteddfod Ensemble champions for 2017.
4. Friday 24th August: Saxalettes Saxophone Quartet
Saxalettes Saxophone Quartet are four saxophonists performing popular tunes in jazz, swing, spiritual, ska and funk styles. From Bohemian Rhapsody to Singin' in the Rain, it's an interesting blend of tunes performed entirely by soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones.
5. Friday 31st August: Lowri and Lee Acoustic
Described by Bob Harris (BBC Radio 2) as ‘One of his absolute favourite artists’, Lowri is blessed with a voice capable of wide emotional power, her songs taking their musical colours from a broad palette that includes Americana, Folk, Country and Blues, all beautifully knitted together through her innate musicality and heartfelt delivery. Lee’s beautifully judged guitar playing and subtle harmonies
